This is a once a month gathering for new visitors to meet our Senior Pastor, get to know others that are new to the church, and to learn more about the HDCC family and how to get connected. Journey to Membership

This three-week class is for anyone wanting to take their next steps into church membership with us. We believe that fully investing yourself into a body of believers is what we are called to as a church. In these three weeks, you’ll learn about the foundation of the Christian faith, learn about our mission and vision, and figure out where you can best serve in the HDCC body.

Baptism

We truly believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision. Whether it was Paul who went from being Saul, the persecutor of Christians, to Paul, the proclaimer of Christ...Lydia, who went from wandering by the riverside to opening her home for all the believers...the Ethiopian official, who went from being thoroughly confused to going on his way rejoicing...or even Jesus, as he went from being a carpenter to embarking on his Messiahship...baptism was the sign of new life and new beginnings for each of them.

In the book of Romans, we read in chapter 6, verse 4, "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
