Each summer, a variety of camp sessions are offered to challenge campers in their physical and spiritual lives. In a typical summer, over 60 children from HDCC attend a session of camp at Camp Allendale. In addition to the summer camp program, Allendale also offers a quality retreat facility and support services to churches, schools and non-profit organizations, assisting them to accomplish their goals of fellowship, renewal, education, leadership development, and future planning.

Hazel Dell Christian Church was recently selected to participate in Compassion International's new “Church to Church” partnership program with Deliverance Church in Kigungu, Uganda. Because of its strong commitment to reach the people of Kigungu with the love of Christ, Deliverance Church serves as a host site for a Compassion Child Development Project. The church provides the children with weekly lessons on basic life skills, tutoring, Bible teaching and Scripture memorization, plus a hot meal. These children then return to their (often) non-believing homes, sharing what they have learned with their families. Deliverance Church is making an impact in its community!
OUR involvement in this partnership means that you can provide for the children in Kigungu by enrolling as a Compassion sponsor. We will also continue sending mission teams to put "flesh" on this relationship, joining Deliverance Church in its efforts to reach the community for Christ. As part of a HDCC team, a sponsor would also have the opportunity to meet his or her sponsored child.
There are many families in Kigungu who are waiting to hear that their child has been sponsored. You can rescue one of these children from poverty, in Jesus' name, contact Mark Taylor (317-696-5199; firstname.lastname@example.org) or Judy Taylor (317-696-5196; email@example.com).
